I bought a spring air mattress and box spring that has broken two bed frames!!!! And I assure you, I do not weigh over 150 pounds. I pulled the lining off of the box spring and it is held together with 1 X 2 pieces of wood--well it WAS held together. The wood had broken in three places. The business we bought it from says it won't honor the warranty because they've never heard of a weak box spring breaking the bed. I don't jump on the bed or anything like that.
20 yr warranty on a $5M mattress is a farce. Sagging mattress after 4 yrs and Dormia blames it on the adjustable base. What else is a split-head mattress for? Offers to sell me replacement for $2,900. I'll take my $ and buy from another source. Relax in Comfort dealer served as middle man, but I'll pursue through the State of Florida Division of Consumer Affairs.
Be Carefull who you give your money to.
You would think that in this economy a furniture company would be happy to have a customer walk in their door ready to spend roughly 10k. However, Thomasville does not seem share this opinion. I placed my order on Labor Day weekend for roughly 10k in furniture with a deposit of 3k. Here I sit in mid-late Nov. with only a small portion delivered. Promised a delivery of 4-6 weeks. I have heard every excuse in the book and have been given multiple dates of delivery only to have no bedroom furniture and other items missing totaling over 6k. Come to find out the store was franchise owned and they declared bankruptcy.
Stay away from efurnitureshowroom.com- received damaged curio driver/trucker intimated my wife to accept after she and driver heard broken glass in box .reported it with pictures to them, they told me to discard damaged curio then I cancelled order because efurnitureshowroom never contacted me for over two weeks and they still charged me $133.93 for restocking fee when the damaged one was not sent back it was thrown away per company. Still charged restocking fee.
